The Portrait Room was absolutely breathtaking. The antique furniture, stunning paintings, and mesmerizing view made for a truly unforgettable experience. I was in awe of the room's charm and elegance. Additionally, the riverside location was perfect for relaxation and enjoying the beautiful scenery. I was also pleased with how welcoming the hotel was to my dog.
While there were a few drawbacks such as the expensive breakfast for two and the limited view in our room, the incredible nature surrounding the hotel and the friendly staff more than made up for it. The hotel's location allowed for a beautiful 25-minute walk to the nearest town, and the billiards room provided plenty of entertainment.

The historic ambiance was evident throughout the property, and my room had a stunning view. The staff at Logement Aan De Vecht went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. The bed was comfortable and the linen was of high quality. Despite the warm weather, a good fan was provided to keep the room cool. The grounds were beautiful and the hotel provided a peaceful escape from the busy road outside. I also enjoyed eating my take-away meal by the river, which added to the overall experience.
Although the breakfast was tasty and fresh, it was a bit expensive for what was offered. The window in the bedroom only opened a tiny bit, and the bathroom window couldn't be opened at all, which was a bit irritating.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a breathtaking country house with beautifully decorated rooms and well-maintained facilities. The combination of classic and contemporary furniture made for a stunning atmosphere, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The bathrooms were not only comfortable but also charming, adding to the overall appeal of the place. The continental breakfast offered was great, with a wide variety of fresh ingredients to choose from. The service provided by the friendly staff was exceptional, and the surroundings, including the lovely garden and neighboring restaurant, added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this place for a memorable stay, whether it's for one night or more.

Absolutely loved our New Year stay at this charming hotel! The room was spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated with antique pieces. The comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious breakfast served every morning. The hotel is located in a breathtaking location, offering stunning views of the river and a cozy terrace to enjoy them from.
The lack of soundproofing in the room was a bit disappointing as we could hear noises from other guests throughout the night and morning. It would have been helpful to have better sound insulation.

The decoration in this hotel is simply exquisite. Every corner is filled with beautiful antiques and old-world charm, which made me feel like I had stepped back in time. The general areas of the hotel were spacious and well-maintained, making it easy to navigate for senior people like myself. The staff, who I affectionately refer to as the children working there, were kind and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. The hotel's accessibility was also commendable, with public transport easily accessible for trips to nearby cities like Utrecht or Amsterdam.
My only minor request for a better vacation for senior people would be to have more handrails or support in the bathroom.

Oh, and just loved climbing the steep stairs with my luggage. So convenient.

The whole squad had a blast playing billiards and chillin' at the beautiful garden. We even went on a private cruise along the Vecht River, yo! The vibes were on point and the scenery was dope. Definitely the go-to spot for an epic time with your crew!
The only thing that could've made our lit stay even better would be if they had a DJ or some sick party vibes. Like, imagine raging with the squad at this amazing place!

The location of the hotel is excellent, right by the river and in beautiful surroundings. Close to a fabulous restaurant Slangvecht that was great value. You can enjoy your breakfast in the conservatory or even outside, with a view over the garden, landscape, and the river Vecht. The rooms are spacious and contain beautiful antique pieces, giving them a luxurious feel. The staff is friendly and the service is top-notch.
The access to the upper rooms is via steep stairs, which can make carrying luggage difficult.

I recently stayed at a quirky B&B in central Netherlands for a few nights. The bedroom was spacious with unique character, offering delightful views over the river Vecht. The breakfast provided was delicious and typically Dutch. Additionally, the nearby restaurant, "Restaurant Slangevecht," offered excellent quality food. The option to rent bikes from the hotel allowed us to enjoy a delightful circular tour of the region. Highly recommended for couples or small groups.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
